ハーブは元郵便局員。ドロシーは元図書館司書。ドロシーの収入で生活をし、ハーブのお給料でアーティストから作品を買い続けました。その数、5000以上。最初は無名だったアーティストの作品がいつのまにか、総額推定数百万ドル。ハーブとドロシーがどのようにそれらを集めたか、アーティスやギャラリストなどのインタビューを交えながら集めた作品が寄贈されるまでのお話。
