ずっと見たかった『ハーブ＆ドロシー』へ。
ハーブは元郵便局員。ドロシーは元図書館司書。ドロシーの収入で生活をし、ハーブのお給料でアーティストから作品を買い続けました。その数、5000以上。最初は無名だったアーティストの作品がいつのまにか、総額推定数百万ドル。ハーブとドロシーがどのようにそれらを集めたか、アーティスやギャラリストなどのインタビューを交えながら集めた作品が寄贈されるまでのお話。
インタビュアー「買い手は大勢いたのに、なぜ売らなかったんですか？」
ハーブ「お金よりコレクションの方が大切だから。」

and they kept their works after they became famous.
because it’s important to keep their works more than money.

伊坂幸太郎さんの『グラスホッパー』を読みました。
内容を全く知らなかったので、読み始めて「そうかぁ….。殺し屋の話かぁ…。」と、仕事がほぼ終わって、リラックスしたかったので、始めはちょっと躊躇しながら読んでいたのですが、押し屋が登場した辺りから面白くて、また一気に読んでしまいました。
伊坂さんの作品は『重力ピエロ』で初めて読んだので、今回で２冊目ですが、毎回「 私も感じた事あるなー。」という一文が出てきます。残酷なシーンもあるのに、読み終わると温かい気持ちになります。主人公の性格がいいからかな ….。
この本を読んだ後に寝て、見た夢がまたとても面白かった。忘れたけど …. 。
i read a book ” grasshopper ” is written by Kotaro Isaka.
it was second time i’ve read is book.
as for his work, the mind becomes warm though there is a cruel scene,too.
the story is like this art work.
